About Us
Rebekah Antrosio and Jessica Christianson are high school friends who recently reacquainted at a schoolmate's wedding. A common love of travel and adventure inspired these ladies to plan a van-dwelling open-ended road trip along the Pan American highway.

Waking to a sunny day, we spent a leisurely morning cleaning up the van and drying out the rest of our gear.As we set out on the Alcan highway, we couldn’t help but notice how many altitude changes we were driving through, and the amazing distance our eyes could see.The views of the Northern Rockies and the foothills were stunning.Stopping for a picnic lunch along the way, we parked the van in a field of fragrant clover and ate the last of the ribeye in the form of steak sandwiches with a little cabbage salad to wash them down.
Near the BuckinghorseRiver, we spotted our first moose!Very exciting!
We headed up to the Omineca Peace region in northeast British Columbia to check out the campgrounds and hiking in the area.Although the hiking around Stone Mountain looked excellent, the campground had very few trees and all 28 sites were mostly in full view of each other. We opted to drive on to MunchoLake, stopping in to check out the Strawberry Flats campground on the south side of the lake. While there were many nice sites, the campground was fairly crowded and all the lakeside sites were taken.Holding out for perfection, we continued to the MacDonald campground and found a spectacular site on the lake facing HoneymoonIsland. All the sites at MacDonald campground are on the lake and it was the least occupied of all three campgrounds.Highly recommended.
