About Us
Rebekah Antrosio and Jessica Christianson are high school friends who recently reacquainted at a schoolmate's wedding. A common love of travel and adventure inspired these ladies to plan a van-dwelling open-ended road trip along the Pan American highway.
Cult of the Cougar: Teotihuacan – Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon
Teotihuacan – Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon
3/5/09
Construction of this huge archeological site at Teotihuacan near Mexico City began in 100
BC.The Pyramid of the Sun is the third
largest in the world at a height of more than 250 feet.Linked by the Avenue of the Dead, the Pyramid
of the Moon is140 feet high but appears as tall as the Pyramid of the Sun since
it was built on higher ground. We
climbed both pyramids and wandered around the other structures upon which
murals and other interesting rockwork.has been done. Many tourbusses of adults and schoolchildren
visit Teotihuacan
between 10 and 2 – for a more peaceful time, go on either side of this window.
