Tabacon Hot Springs

Just outside the town of La Fortuna, at the base of Arenal Volcano lies the world famous Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort. We took advantage of the low season prices and selected a three night package complete with a Temezcal ceremony, spa certificates and a large daily buffet breakfast. Although we had grand plans of exploring the area, we found the hot springs and hotel at Tabacon to be so relaxing that we never left the property. We blissed out in the various natural hot spring pools and waterfalls amidst the gorgeous rainforest, while watching and listening to the birds and wildlife. The spa was also delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our Temezcal sweat lodge experience as well as dual pedicures. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly throughout the entire resort. We highly recommend Tabacon as we found ourselves the most relaxed we’ve ever been (especially Jessica!).

PROFOUNDLY JEALOUS! That is what the doctor ordered. Sounds fabulous.

Don't blame you for staying at the spa the whole time. Looks like good fun! It's very cold here.
